CMVSS108, and ECE region requirements.
- Managed FuSa system compliance and cybersecurity requirements to meet ASIL-D standards.
- Developed GM's strategy for next-generation Adaptive Driving Beam exterior lighting.
- Delivered ADB headlamp system on MY21 Cadillac Escalade (Canada) — first North American production
integration.
★ Remarkable Achievement: Demonstrated vehicle FMVSS108 compliance using
own-developed test tools and methods — reduced tooling cost by $200K.
Successfully delivered the first North American production launch of the Cadillac Escalade Adaptive
Driving Beam (ADB) Advanced Headlamp System, enabling regulatory-compliant deployment in the Canadian
market.
Ultra Cruise — Machine Vision Camera
- Architected and developed HD cameras for Ultra Cruise enabled vehicles — CMOS imager, ISP, lens/optics
design, SerDes selection, thermal design, and ECU integration.
- Spearheaded architecture for Ultra Cruise PSAT camera platforms with thermal management, electrical
power distribution, and high-speed network integration.
- Led cameras FuSa and cybersecurity compliance with supplier and GM cross-functional teams to meet ASIL-D
system requirements based on ASIL-B components.
- Delivered multiple camera platforms to SOP with zero major launch escalations, meeting aggressive OEM
timing and quality targets.
★ Remarkable Achievement: Reduced EV consumed camera power by 5W and reduced
weight/complexity of vehicle harness across multiple vehicle lines. First configurable camera platform
enabling high-reuse across diverse vehicle lines.
Passive Safety — Restraint System
- Successfully led global airbag module development to meet multi-market regulations across multiple
vehicle launches.
- Led global cross-functional team to meet functional requirements and established governance frameworks
strengthening execution discipline.
★ Remarkable Achievement: Executed field action recall with minimum cost.
Recognized by GM as "Every Day Safety Hero" — Global Safety Week, for root-causing and correcting an
assembly line airbag safety incident outside scope of responsibility.
